Classes & Workshops

Group classes and workshops at Ashwild are more than movement — they’re a ritual of return. In these shared spaces, we explore somatic practices, gentle yoga, breathwork, and nature-rooted mindfulness in a way that honours your body’s pace, your story, and your nervous system. Every session is an invitation to come home to yourself, exactly as you are. Whether you’re seeking grounding, regulation, release, connection, or simply a moment to exhale — there’s a place for you here.

Mindfulness through Sound, Story & Somatic Play

Wildlings in Motion is not just a story session — it’s a whole-body, sensory-based experience designed to support children’s emotional regulation, confidence, and wellbeing.

Each week, we step inside a new myth-inspired story — not to read it, but to live it.

Children move like waves, shake like thunder, roar like forest creatures. They embody the narrative through dynamic movement, expressive sound, breathwork, and imaginative roleplay — all grounded in somatic therapy principles.

We guide them gently through:
• Emotional awareness
• Sensory exploration
• Movement and rhythm-based regulation
• Grounding practices to return to calm

To them, it’s play — full of magic, creativity, and connection.
To us, its nervous system support, co-regulation, and embodied learning in disguise.

Each session ends with a reflective craft or sensory ritual, helping integrate the experience and leave them feeling settled, seen, and proud. Children leave with a gift, a craft and a sense of wellbeing.

Whispers of the Body

Where movement meets memory, and breath becomes a bridge.
A soft return to self, through motion, stillness, and the sacred language of the body.

Each class is part of a four-week cycle designed to mirror the seasons of the body. You can drop in or journey through the full series.

You might:
– Ground your root and regulate your nervous system
– Stir the waters of emotion and memory
– Awaken creative fire and reclaim power
– Open your heart to softness and joy
– Clear space for vision and voice
– Remember your cyclical nature and find balance within

This class offers a gentle, grounded space to explore the language of your body through:

Somatic movement – slow, intuitive motions that release tension, awaken awareness, and restore flow
Guided breathwork – soft, rhythmic breathing practices to calm the nervous system and create emotional spaciousness
Grounding rituals – practices to reconnect with the earth and your physical body (touch, pressure, scent, sound)
Embodied stillness – moments of deep rest and listening between movements
Nervous system education – woven through the class to help you understand your body’s cues and signals
Integration practices – reflective prompts or sensory grounding to help you carry the work into your everyday life

These sessions are suitable for all bodies and all levels.
Modifications and choices are always offered. You’re the expert of your experience — I’m just here to guide the remembering.
